This isn’t just any dragon, but a shimmering, metallic blue infant, only a day old. Every brushstroke detailing its scales glistened with the hues of the midnight sky, tinged with the cool luminescence of moonlight. I could see him clearly in my mind’s eye, this original and unique being, and I yearned to bring him to life for others to witness.
His stance is playful yet determined. You can see the innocent ambition in his eyes—a world of potential waiting to be unleashed. Most endearing is his valiant attempt to emit his breath weapon, a rite of passage for dragons. In his mind, he envisions flames, the quintessential symbol of draconic power. But this little one is in for a surprise.
In time, as he matures, he’ll come to realize that his true strength lies not in fire, but in the electrifying force of lightning. This unexpected twist adds a layer of depth to the narrative, hinting at the unforeseen paths life often takes, and the surprises that await us as we grow and evolve.

Pearl Linen Postcard - This 3.5"x5" postcard is printed on linen, creating a almost canvas appearance. Between the linen weaves are pearlescent clusters, which increase the contrast of the art.
